expensive body + cheap 3rd party lens kicks @$$ more often in different light situations than cheap camera body + expensive lens. unless of course the cheap camera body + expensvie lens setup comes with expensive flash or is a strobist.

Sa akoa ra pud ni experience. Ma buang ko pugong sa kurog if I have say a canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L on my EOS 450D unya ambient light sa sulod sa church @ ISO 800. samot na if 85mm kay remember, shutter has to be higher than the focal length to make sure its stable. unya kay crop body man, samot.

Wala2x ra if naka 5D Mark II @ iso 3200 kaya ra kaayo kung mataod lang ang cheap EF-S 18-55mm kit lens sa full frame like 5d MK II, naa nata extra sample for comparison for the expensive body + cheap lens side. haha

me..cheap camera + expensive lens would be ok.... unless i am shooting for billboards. I dont need 20 MP cameras, i am even happy with 10 mp.

ako nabantayan dri sa thread nga pattern ba...

cheap cam + expensive lens = for people starting out and/or people who plan to make money off of the lenses later.
expensive cam + cheap lens = for people who mostly do prime and landscape shooting.

as for me....cheap cam + expensive lens ako vote cuz i already got a cheap cam. it'll be crazy to turn back now. heheheh.
