i do agreee with michaelocana...if there's a necessity not to edit then don't edit/enhance the photo/s...i think you can never separate the digital darkroom from digital photography...that's one of the best things of it...

99% edit/enhance gyud ko even. pagbutang lang ug frame and sig, consider naman na db? hehehe bitaw, softwares are made for digital media arts gyud but naa pod for photography like lightroom. and like godcode said, for glamour, fashion, portrait, face & hair, product shoots and all pictures for commercial use kay enhance gyud nila.so for me, advantage if mag practice gyud ka ug enhance ug pictures even though not needed. lingaw-lingaw lang gud hehehe..
try to know sa imong submittan kung NEF/Raw ang dawaton or pwde ra ba nga edited in jpeg format... in case nga NEF/Raw ila gusto at least kabalo naka unsay i achieve... make the best shot gyud straight from the camera.. for landscape use different filters para ma achieve nmo ang imong output... naa tay mga sample nga no editing photos, using filters ra para mo standout ang colors
for me, I rarely edit.. I enhance and avoid retoki
edit = altering the image (i.e. vintage effect and such)...
enhancement = improvement of the image (that is already captured beautifully)..
retoki = fixing a poorly shot image..
i dont like the term "edit"... post processing lang.. hehe... its been there during the film era... =)
Paytera ug tubag oi.. pag miss universe man... Major Major post process... hehehehehe
Its simple, ang di kahibaw mo photoshop di mu PP ang kahibaw mo photoshop for sure mu PP jd.
so kung naa kay photoshop/gimp/mspaint/ms photo manager etc sa imong laptop/pc so mu PP ka. feryod...![]()
