yes!!! Definitely.

The ipod? The cellphone? The Internet? As long as these things exist, sharing music will ultimately lead to being completely free and profitless. And mp3 will be its format.
ok.
Well it's happening already isn't it? If it's not MP3, it will be some different format with DRM attached to it. The whole idea of selling music as a product (CDs) is slowly changing to selling it as a service (iTunes and some other subscription based online music store).
I don't agree however with music being completely free though. Most artists works so hard to get their stuff out there and I think it's fair that we should at least pay them for their effort.
What's the hottest accessory for young folks these days? It's either an iPod, or, a phone like mine that stores and plays mp3s.
Now, ask yourselves this - when you have an iPod, do you usually have to BUY music to play on it? Same with the multimedia phone.
Nuff said.
even on cds there are mp3's!!!
P2P rulez! =)
even itunes' DRM can easily be cracked. just burn them songs into a CD and then rip them again to your pc. AAC daw kay mas nindot quality, but mp3 is prevalent enough.
