I don't think Syria can fool Israel, have you heard about the news that Israel bombed the nuclear sites of Syria (2007), which was hidden and defended by Russian made anti aircraft? Israeli jets was not even detected by the Syrians.

About the ChiComs, yes they can build missiles, but right now they are struggling to develop quality avionics and radars. Maybe soon they can, but by that time THAAD anti-missile is working 110% already.

Last June the ChiComs just realized what US can do anytime, with the presence of the battle group in Korea, then 4 US submarines appeared on its neighborhood carrying 462 Tomahawks.
