i dont mean to bump but i have been on certain ipod touch forums and once an ipod touch get's wet, it has to be sent to the nearest apple store to check for damages. if it doesn't work anymore, you can have it sent to hong kong for a repair or buy a new unit. the longer you let it wait, the worse it'll get.
also, dont tinker with it too much, it'll just short circuit the rest.
