great hd camcorder comes with a hefty price tag--no doubt

but if your budget is around US$150 or less, you can get the likes of fliphd, kodak zx-8 or playsport, samsung, jvc & etc.

i own a kodak playsport, its 3 meters waterproof.

wala pa ko kadungog anang DVS but if i were you, i will buy the branded ones. check the videos sa youtube kay daghan man nag post sa ilang mga videos. tan-awa lang sad ang mga camera sa amazon aron makita nimo ang uban brand at the same price point.

the video quality of a 40k hd camcorder will beat the hd video of a 40k dslr-hands down and vice versa with the still photo quality.

kung HD video gyud ang main purpose sa thread starter, better for him to buy a true HD video cam and not a dslr.

dili sad ka ka straight record HD sa DSLR. mga clips ra for 3-5 min kay moinit na ang sensor. better buy HD camera like SOny tag 50k.
