kanang mag concert ba, naa man gud koy makit an ang drummer mag headphone. ingon nila monitor daw na...nya akong pangutana asa mana dapita ituslok? naay amps sa likod niya? or unsa man gyud ang connection asa mana padung...libog man gud ko ana...

hinaot unta matubag inyong akong simple kaayo nga pangutana...salamat.

^^ btaw tua sa mixer.. pero most often nag wireless na sila, para makalihok og maau ang drummer.. ang earphone naka connect sa wireless reciever (murag sa PBB ba, kanang wireless mic nila) unya naay wireless transmitter did2 sa mixer section.. ang drummer mag boot kung pila ka % drums, guitar, bass, vocals iya gusto ma dunggan sa earphone monitor niya.. ang mag timpla sa signal niya is ang tech/engineer.. one problem ani is latency, kay naa mana delay ang pag travel sa signal in real time w/ regards sa mo travel ang signal sa electronic processors & wires.. e.g. pag hapak nimo sa snare, basin naay delay by a few milliseconds b4 ma dunggan nimo sa earphone monitor ang imoang hapak sa snare.. but anyway, nag improve na ang current technology & nag kaanam na ka wa ang problem ani w/ regards sa latency..

btw, dili lang ni pra sa drummer.. even guitarists & vocalists mo gamit ani... & here's a funny trivia, sa monitor ni eddie van halen, ang madunggan ra niya is ang drums sa iya bro na si alex van halen =) mao ra kuno iya gamit pra sa tempo niya although people were speculating na dili gyud na cya makasinabot sa vocalist mao na ing ana, hehe

I was lucky enough to have stumbled upon A Perfect Circle's "Thirteenth Step" about a week ago, and while the album is great, that was also the time I was made aware of Josh Freese's existence.

I've since decided that he's the kind of drummer I wish I could be.

PS: I've heard his work in NIN years ago, but did not notice him until APC.

ako idol si mike portnoy, coordinated kaau cya everytime mag double peds cya.. ako goal mag practice ko ug quadrople peds! hehehe... try lng nko if ma achieve ba.. murag di nman pd au cya pleasing to hear if isagol sa music, mura na ug malubong.. pero geh lng, its worth the try.. im using heel-toe technique for my single double-ped kicks.. try nya ninyo, para nko mas hinay ang slide technique..

He also caught my attention sa APC bai.. after I first heard Three Libras about a decade ago. Ganahan gyud kos iyang binunalan. Pahimutang pero technical kaayo... he never overplays the songs. Ang naka nindot sab niya kay bisag asa siya ibutang, bisag unsa nga style.. maayo gihapon kaayo. He does Punk.. he sessions with pop artists.. etc...
