Damned! Ariza's current career after the Lakers is like a BALL. Bouncing around from one team to the next.

Trades like these never make any sense. Which team got better? Anyone?
indiana pacers got the best of the trade i think.. the hornets picked CP3 over darren collison...

I think Ariza will work well with Chris Paul in NO. He didn't fit on Adelman's system very well. Lee is more of a better fit to Adelman's system than him. I'm guessing NO will be good at playing the run and gun system. CP3 running the point and create some open shots for players like Ariza, Peja, and Bellineli... they'll be dangerous. However, the team added another injury prone players and not good on D. They're not going to make it to the playoffs. Soo obvious! LAL, Dallas, Houston, Utah, OKC, Denver, Portland, PHX will be likely on the Top 8 and probably NO will be around at 9th or down.

This trade is a great deal for Houston. Aside from $6M trade exception, they're now surrounding their big centerpiece with great shooters -- Lee, Martin, Budinger -- who can play some D as well. If Yao can stay healthy, I can see this team killing other teams especially in the playoffs!!

So Ariza will come off the bench with the Hornets, a back up to Peja. His career is really in limbo now, a starter in Lakers and Rockets, a back up SF in Hornets. He should fire his agent...

    Belinelli.

Ariza is a good defender but not great anymore (based on his 09-10 season stats). His DRtg rise up from 102 to 105, and his stl% drops from 3.5% to 2.3%. He might improve if he play along with CP3 but as far as his last season went, his defense stats should be a wake-up call for him. Maybe this foreshadows the end of his unexpected breakthrough career as he was selected 43rd overall in 2004 NBA draft.

You're right, Belinelli is a threat on offense but his D sucks.

Regarding Ariza's declining stats on Defense, I think it has something to do with Adelman's system and his role with the Rockets which is more focused on offense unlike when he was with the Lakers..

Peja is getting Old. Sige pa ka injury, I think Ariza is a good addition. As much as I dislike the Lakers, he is one guy I enjoy watching when he was still part of the team. Ariza will be fined.

    Wow Darren Collison to Indiana...

Good for him para pod dili ma-sayang iyang talent if maka-duwa na whole season si Chris Paul.
