correction: not all are appointees. some if not most of them are career officials who has been in the government for more than 15 years. and right, if some of them went into private, they would have earned more.

Sorry for the appointed word, but what i meant was designated (hired/put into position). If they went into private they would have earned more? yes could be but not to the point where your salary is increasing every minute in the government.

Take for example, Arreza who stated na he is only recieving 100K+ a month o including the bonuses but how come COA declared 22Mil or almost 2Mil per month? Arreza said he worked in a private sector before and earned 300k per month.. wow mas dako paman unta kaysa iyang current work. Question was why he choose to work in the government with lower salary? to serve the country?.... 2nd na lang cguro na kay he knows money is flowing in SBMA where billions is alloted every year.

^^ why? cause in private companies you only have power whithin the company. in gov't, well, you have power in a lot of places. money is nothing without power and fame. you maybe rich but if you have limited power and no fame at all, you are just a step higher than anybody else.

Arreza ba tong sa SBMA? gi explain man niya. as president of SBMA he has provisional funds under his name.
