@maddox_pitt: how did i overcome stress? with the help of my family, non-med friends and medskul classmates. i remember during my 1st year, neuro-ana mi ato, then nkalit nlng jud kog ka-burn out. bisag unsaon nakog tuon, wa na jud msulod sa akong utok. i cried and told my mom na nanglisod na jud ko.she told me na whatever i decide on, they will support me. that took off a lot of pressure. u need to unwind jud sometimes. there are things u can share w ur fam. there are things u can share with ur medskul classmates that u cant share with ur non-med friends and vice-versa. also, learn to laugh hehe every now and then our batch has received comments from nurses and residents we've worked with na na-doctor nalng daw mi but wa lng ghapn mi buot hehe im about to start my residency and ill be honest with u, things dont get any easier after u finish med skul. mas daghn na kag responsibilities and ppl expect so much of u. but do ur best nlng jud. u can only do so much. becoming a doctor is a vocation. it entails a lot of sacrifices and the rewards arent always sufficient. i think u knw that already.
re the cheaters in ur class, dont mind them nlng. its not a competition btw. they will suffer lang pud nig internship nla k dha na ka mka encounter na kalit lng ka pangutan on sa consultant hehe try ur best to have a good grasp of the basics like physio, anatmy etc k magcge jud na balik2.

ask lang ko dok f tanan mga doctor utokan or valedectorian nga ni graduate? dili man gud Q bright pero nahan jud ko mag doctor sa una bisag bata pa ko..... karon, computer students Q (2nd year)., but i felt empty jud... lisod jud skewelahan ang course na dili gusto imong heart.... Everytime mag tuon ko about computers especially programming mag hilak jud Q kay as in dili jud Q nahan napugos lang ko sa ko papa kay demand daw ni cya.... then f mag med sad ko, ala man sad ntawn mi money ikagasto. hahay.... ani jud ni ang lyf

@lynNux18: answer sa question...nope....in fact, gamay ra ang over achievers na muproceed ug med kay kapuyan naman sila hehe pero, uhmn...i guess kc... di man valedictorian or w/honors ang tanan na med student, i can claim na most med xudents are of above average IQs hehe.... based ra na sa observation nako ha anyways if makahuman ka sa computer course nimo karon, you can always study med after man..take ra ka sa kuwangan na units.... pwede ra man...nman koy kaila com. sci. ga.med man lagi...2nd yr na ron....if nahan jud ka, you can apply for scholarships man sad...make sure lang na karon pa lang, pundo naka daan ug grades....

^^yeah, wla man pud koy honors2x pg.graduate HS or college.. dghan pud ko classmates wla honors pg-gradaute, but utokan sad jud sila.. advantage gyud brains, but mas importante diligence ug motivation.. grabe dapat jud nimo ma-push imong self nga mg read read read.. puerteng dghana dapat i-read..

pwede rman pud proceed ka med after ka grad ComSci.. pwede gani maskin journalism or fashion design or engineering ang college course.. extra effort lng nuon on your part kay ang uban classmates naa naman gamay background sa topics..

@reginakrys: i agree.. anyways you'll be using the same books man sa classmates dba? hehe ang nakaapan lang kay ang uban (eg nurses, medtechs, pt) they have a background knowledge on med...pero okay ra na...sakto jud..force yourself to read (haha force jud?!)
