mura man walay naka suway og thermaltake na psu...hehehe...
parias unta ni nako sa Sunbeamtech VentMax Mid Tower Case...
Thermaltake Litepower is just one step above generic. I read somewhere it has en efficiency rate of 65% (min), as reference the HEC Raptor has 75%.
better safe than regret pre. active PFC + 80plus REAL certification... cheapest i could find SS ST50F-ES @ 2,650 @ G.I. - APM Mall...
Formula calculations:
Vac_in x eifficiency = Vdc_out
Take a system that requires 300W power as example, if it is equipped with a power supply that has 60% efficiency, then the AC input power draw would be 500W. Example : 500W x 60% = 300W
links
then thermaltake is not really that good then...
will find another brand... back to step 1...
What are you planning to use it on? Heavy gaming and such?
i'd go with werty's suggestion
i'll put the specs then so that you guys can suggest but im sure mostly silverstone would be the suggested... hehehe... my budget is between 2.5k to 3k... i think within range na ang silverstone st50f essentials 500w 80+
Processor: Intel E5300 2.6G PDC
Motherboard: Intel DG31PR
RAM: Kingston 2Gb DDR2 800
Video Card: Ati Radeon HD 4670 DDR4(rare version, no subbrand sa ATI gyud na Video Card)
Harddisk: 1x320gb Seagate SATA, 1x160gb Seagate SATA, 1x80gb IDE
DVDROM: Samsung DVD ROM IDE
Casing: Astone Enforcer
Powersupply: Stock Astone Enforcer PSU
so as you can see, i need to change my PSU coz i'm afraid it won't last long, and i would be changing casing to Sunbeamtech VentMax Mid Tower Case which has 5 FANs.
^^
i've assembled almost same specs sa imoha(aside for cpu/mb coz i used adm 7850BE+amd690 mb) for gaming and buyag its still running smoothly until karon.
but to have peace of mind lang and have peace, better change the PSU to something more reliable. 500 watts is enough even if u change cpu/videocard(single-card) soon... 700watts if u have plans of doing dual-vga or more...
