Para nako, this wouldn't be much of a problem, if in the first place the guards were strict of this before.

Dugay na baya kaau to nga issue nga mag uniform ang mga students sa USC. They should have included the USC sling on that matter! YEARS na gud to nga issue! KARUN RA GIBUHI! Nagpaila jd sila nga WAY KLARO ILANG SISTEMA when it comes to making student policies!

Asa gud mo anang 2 INCHES FROM THE COLLAR ang patupehan! HIMUON TAG MURAG SUNDALO OG DAGWAY! Ok ra nako magpatupe unta, IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT RIDICULOUS TERM OF A POLICY!

Ingun pd sila GIMEETINGAN daw nila, What's the use of the meeting kung di apilun ang subjects sa meeting which is the student body!

ASA NAMAN JD ANG COMMONSENSE ANA NILA... Maluoy nalang ko sa mga guard kay igo rana sila gasunod sa gisugo nila, it's the higher order which needs blaming.

I believe dala sad jud na pangwarta ilaha karun, I'm just disappointed nga mao na ilahang gi-una, and not the bigger picture nga ang student body ang ilahang problemahun.

In general, ok ra unta ang policy, if it was only implemented at the right time. Stupidity nga naman...

    paeta!

mao nani karon! kuwang nalang mg tukod ug barbershop ang san carlos

may nlang last batch ko sa no uniform! ^_^

pangwarta raman gyud na ba! tarong naman na tan.awon ang mga taga TC with there uniforms and hair cuts

i think this is ok as this is for security purposes, im from TC myself way back when tattered jeans and no ID no entry policy was implemented. everybody was enraged by the rules, then the no long hair policy.

but i think the rules is not the problem, its the efficient implementation of the policy, which eventually lead to the gurads being that "pain in the ass".

so i suggest... hinay hinay lang sa pagreact, it might lead to something undesirable pa unya hinoon like what happend before

    just my 2 cents...

IMO maskin dili ko taga USC, sunod nalang mo uy, gamay ra kau ng issue-ha...maytag tuition fee increase nga dako kau kay big deal jd nah...

but kana ID sling, facial hair and long hair issues(sa mga boys)? gamay ra jd kau tawn na...patakaran man na sa school gd, and who knows in the near future other schools in Cebu City will follow this kind of implementation(or ila na strictly impose pd) dba? regarding anang facial hair and long hair sa mga boys, i think what the school is doing kay make its male students look presentable and respectable, go ask your parents kuno kung maau ba mo tan-awn anang tag-as(uban kalkag pa kau) ug buhok ug kanang mga bungot/bangas nga walay trim2 or shave nga lalaki, i bet that maskin sila dili ganahan ana kay untidy kau tan-awn...inappropriate in a way man pd, don't you think? and dont compare your school to other schools esp the ones in the US kay lahi man tawn ta ug cultures oie, naunsa ba gd tawn mo...if for US schools dili impt para nila kung unsay suot or composition sa ila estudyante, well ours here in the Philippines mu-matter, and we can't do anything about that, can we?

no offense ha, but i think students nowadays are too sensitive (usahay OA na) with their so-called "freedom", not realizing that your school is preparing you to the real world after you graduate...kung kamong mga estudyante ing-ana na gani mo sa gamayng issue mag yawyaw na, how much more if you get to work na? what if your future company requires you to use their ID sling, or dapat clean imo haircut, unsa man, mu-balhin mo ug lain company nga mu-tolerate sa inyong arte? sunod nalang gd mo, mao ra nay rason para maapektuhan inyo skwela anang mag rally2 mo, mayta tagdon dayon inyong 'concerns' on the spot, most of the time wala ray mahitabo, and you'll end up realizing that nag sayang2 lang mo sa inyung oras kay nag rally2 pa mo nya wala pman diay padulngan...

ang pinaka maau ninyo buhaton is that i-reklamo ninyo the way ang mga guards musita ninyo(kana shagitan mo if tan-aw nila naa moy violation, or wala), tell the management that as students and also maoy nagbayad sa inyo tuition, you deserve to be treated like people and with respect, kana nuon mao na ninyo dapat i-reklamo...

THINK ABOUT IT samtang mga bata pa mo....juz my two cents..peace!

hmmmm i think bro for 2nd coursers(esp if nag work na), dili na kau sila ing-ana ka strict regarding ana...kung taas imo buhok, then hipusa or sudlaya in a way presentable tan-awn...

hahahaha. kahimosh sa reason sa rally uy. pick your battles guys. and sakto tong giingon sa isa ka tao, yale university, harvard and wherever dili nagarequire ug uniform. then better if adto nalang dadto enrol. sa isa ka school, naa man jud na policy na sundon. bisan asa man nga school. nahitabo lang na ang USC particular sila ana nga mga butang. if you cant stand it, then go to other school na swak ang imong pagkacool. 20 pesos for a sling is very affordable. and i bet, kanang sling na gamit ninyo run in any way is bought also. pangit na sling? well, uniforms are meant to be uniforms. ang gwapo, mosul-ot ug pangit na sling will remain gwapo, and ang pangit na mosul-ob ug nice na sling will remain pangit. think about it. hehehehehe

the main issue here why the students are at rage is partly the policy but mostly the time they felt implementing it. and the time is what we like to call "kalit2", this also happened before where the girls that have short skirts were not permitted to enter school grounds.. guess what time they decided to implement this.... after lunch.. does that sound ok to you?.. you are already in the middle of your daily life when sudenly a new rule was implemented without you even knowing, also they dont seem to care about the students opinions at all, since the guards would say that "they" had a meeting.. shouldnt it be the student council and them had a meeting so that the students opinions regarding the matter would also be heard. also this new polciy was just impleneted today i guess. p.s this was never impelemented before since if it were then we wont be this bothered about it. impelementing new rules in the middle of the semester is very stupid, shouldnt new rules be implemented on the following semester so that students can prepare. we as a students have every right to protest and questions such rules.. if those rules were to be really benificial in the part of the students then let it be.. but for a rule to limit our freedom is somehow not tolerable.. also the reason why most students have a different id sling is because the id case and sling are just made for each other, so if your id case were to be broken your available choices would be to purchase a different id sling and case from the mall, or the purchase the skulls id sling and case which is not very durable. i agree that a school is a place of learning. but just becuase you wear a different slings makes you a fashionista?. also the school is nothing without its students so if we all leave san carlos do you think they will still be the same?.. what usc needs are students that will question them.those rules they made that dont make sense at all. for a highly respected university making such stupid and ridiculous rules is very disappointing.. and let us not forget their famous catch phrase.."if you dont like our policy, then better transfer schools" is that by any means ok?.
