Nah I don't think those word wars will overshadow Shaq's enormous contribution to the Lakers franchise.

thou shaq w/o a doubt really deserve his jersey up in the staples center but this is a little bit complicated..Since he sign with boston and well no need to explain to all lakers fans who boston is... this makes him in a situtation that most probably his jersey won't be in the lakers arena for quite some time but not for eternity maybe after 30 plus yrs or once people dont know him anymore.....if only he didnt sign with boston...."a hall of famer w/o a home...shaq".... sound familiar with lebron
