I think most of the congestion is not really because of the number of lanes on the bridge itself but more on the congestion at the foot of the bridge.... especially the old bridge.

If they designed on ramps and off ramps and made flyovers for the intersections (similar to the 2nd bridge), the traffic congestion would be minimized significantly.

agree! flyover inter-change tingali ang needed dinha sa duha ka bridges to solve congestion...dili tunnel.

we are talking about Cebu City itself.....di man sad nato maingon nga dili traffic sa tunnel coz of the fact nga nanaghan sad ang mga sakyanan gigamit sa mga tao.....another bridge connecting to Cordova is not effective as well as this will block the pathway of boats going into our ports....
