If mag himog 3rd access way to Mactan... it should be from Cebu City South to Cordova.

Also, the road From Cordova to the Airport needs to be widened and de-congested of slow moving vehicles to make travel time from Airport to Cebu City South faster.

I think a 3rd bridge would be a less costly and more practical solution than an undersea tunnel and I don't think it will hamper the operations sa pier that much if it is designed and situated properly to link up with the SRP.

If this pushes through, this would be another milestone for Cebu..

But the pessimism aired by some is not altogether unfounded, if Del Mar's bill gets passed, it would would have to be appropriated with a huge amount of public funds which would make it a fertile ground for corrupt politicians to play. I suggest total transparency in the entire process to eliminate, or at least minimize corruption.

I think most of the congestion is not really because of the number of lanes on the bridge itself but more on the congestion at the foot of the bridge.... especially the old bridge.

If they designed on ramps and off ramps and made flyovers for the intersections (similar to the 2nd bridge), the traffic congestion would be minimized significantly.

Sadly, "corruption" will always be a bad shadow of any project of this scale. Like most of us, I hope madayon... ang project. Ang corruption, i hope dili.
