Guys if you really want to go abroad but sort of conflicted financially, may I suggest trying to apply in the Middle East...

Okay, dako2x lang gamay sweldo didto sa mga nurses dri but it would be a great stepping stone professionally while earning (tax free!) and scoring valuable experience right...

Anyways, it was a tip by my cousin who worked for 3 years in Saudi before becoming a nurse in the UK in mid 2006...

Adto na lang ka mangapply didto para lain nasud like what he did...

Basta sa big city hospitals lang ka mka trabaho, dli ka angay mahadlok anang rape2x o unsa...

i need something to take my mind off the upcoming results, whether i pass or fail.

while waiting? nothing productive really.. relax lng, cge foodtrip, uyab2x haha.. i tried applying sa call center but wla ra jpon ko nidayon kay naay better opportunity naabot.. dali2x rman pud to among wait, mga 2 months ra i think..

Ako nag volunteer nurse ko sa amo... Nag duty ko sa health center..... Lingaw man kung maka volunteer ka diay kay daghan kag experiences ma met.....

yes you can participate in trainings but if you prefer IV trai, i suggest you work usa or do volunteer. coz it would be easier or you to complete your IV training if your connected to an institution. then in demand jud nang IV trining so lisod jud na siya pangitaun basta ilaw ra ang muavail....

never lose hope mga nurses ..ako tambay gyud ko for 8months kay nag inarte lage ug pang apply sa mga hospital ..later gikuha ko sa isa ka review center here sa Bohol, after my contract wala ko mi renew and instead nag pass ko application sa tanan hospitals to work as a volunteer nurse ..1 month after my contract ended, I got lucky to apply as a volunteer sa private hospital, while doing my volunteer, I applied for another hospital pd para diretso2, pero i got very lucky to be hired as a casual nurse in a government regional hospital this year mg 1 year nako nig October ..never lose hope, start from volunteer work, mao mn gyud na trend karon nato mga nurses diri sa ato nasud.

i think dili pwede ang iv training para sa dili pa RNs.. that's what i heard from my ate while ongoing iyang iv training did2 sa sotto... or basin sa sotto ra pud to... pero usually they only offer it to RNs lang jud

what i did after boards? rewarded myself with the thing i loved doing most: play!
then nagkat-un sad ko ug drive, kato ganing mga stuff nga napagpaliban while i was busy trying to be a nurse.

ah okay, i thought man gud more or less pre-requisite ang IV training.. okay, will take that into consideration.

pwede ka mu volunteer as a nursing attendant for the meantime. while nag wait ka sa results, at least you can charge that to your experience.

na.a daw next batch this month, my friends ning sign up na sila, ako ala pa ko ni sign up kai i need to save.

thank you for ur encouraging words histrionic0311. most of us are devastated with our situation and with this choosen career. we need stories like yours to uplift back our spirits. im always searching online for updates for any hiring and volunteer programs. i saw u posted for lapu2 city hospital.unfortunately im nt from lapu2, but will try if ever mu accept cla.

yes we have to be positive to what problem we have to face.. it wasn't easy on the first few days but it was greatly paid off. try lang ug submit.

Hi guys ayaw lang mo ug panic kay bata pa bitaw ta hehe let's take it one step at a time. But nt to lax sad na di nalnag ta maninguha! hehe ako kay gi hinay-hinay nako ug pricess akong nclex.. to spend money for my exams, I worked sa callcenter. Started a small business. I am about to work again (not as a nurse) kay I need more money.. this time for my scheduling sa ako nclex and also to help spend for the needs at home. Wa ko nangarap na karon jud ko mularga kay there are a lot of things now that I have to consider before I leave this country and my family.

Naa na ko experience as volunteer nurse and after that, gitawgan sad ko sa sotto. I was interviewed and was told to wait for one year. So while waiting, work sa ko call center again kay wa naman ko kahibaw asa ko. I just pray to God kung unsa jud iyang plano nako.. i won;t force things. Lisod kaayo mag expect ta ug dako.
