This is among the reason ma apektuhan ang farmers pag mo baha ra kalit ang mga imported rice nga pirti ka barato and most of these imported rice kay gikan sa NFA nga gipamaligya sa mga private traders.
If barato ang gasto pag farm then mo barato pud ang bugas. I think we don't need to import rice basta sakto lang ang support sa ato farmers.

in my opinion the govt did store all those rice to prepare for the suppose economic crisis. and also to anticipate calamities that might hit the Phils. last year. i guess the govt just made sure that there won't be a shortage if worst comes to worst. i guess its better to have more than less. we filipinos are known to always save for the rainy days. well 300k sacks of rice is not even enough for all of us if crisis did hit us. good thing it didnt and about its disposal, now lets see if pnoy knows what to do about it. give it for free? i don't think so.. why should they? it's our tax money not poor peoples' like what the head of MRT told ABS-CBN about the raise in MRT & LRT fare. the govt have been paying P45 pesos for every single passenger. and there's like over .5million passengers everyday. where did the money come from? from tax payers and those major tax payers dont even get the experience to ride the MRT/LRT. isnt it a B?
