naa man pud cases na pareha sa processors sa una. ang intel 166Mhz inig dili kapasar sa 166Mhz heat test unya makapasar sa 133Mhz test.. ibaligya man as 133Mhz na processor. same thing ra na sa ubang harddisk. ang 80GB na dili mupasar sa 80GB test ibaligya as 40GB na disk. dili lang ipakita sa user ang gitagu-an na 40GB space. mao tingali na naay musulti na ang ilang HDD naay hidden partition kuno. additional space kunuhay. sure ko mahitabo na sa processor.. pero sa hard disk... unconfirmed pa but i think it's possible.

If you gave 30seconds to read the older post makasabot unta ka nga its detection differences between windows and the hardware.
Take this for example this a a shot of from one of my partions of my 250GB Drive at 135GB partition this screenshot should explain everything.

    yep, Windows reads your 250gb as 230+, 120 =112, 145 = 135.
Sa case ni Lipam, 137gb is not right, that should read 149GB sa mga 160GB na hardisk.

    1,073,741,824x = 160,000,000,000 , you get x equal to 149.011
    1,073,741,824x = 250,000,000,000 , x = 232.830

Lipam, naexperience pod nako na sa una. dili jud madetect ang 160G sa ako motherboard (murag limitation tingali nya). Ako gihimo kay ako sya gislave, unya didto nako sya gireformat ug gipartition (43,75, unya 30+). after ana, maximize na jud imong Hard disk (you can use the whole capacity of your hard disk).

Mocomment lang ko about sa less than 160 G jud ang capacity sa hard disk. this is true considering the computations of 1 byte to KB to MB to GB. No need to explain that, its all been said on the previous replies. but dili to mao ang problema diri. As I have said, Im not sure kung sa hardware limitation o sa software but definitely not on the computation part. Even the disk wizard of seagate will prompt you a message about the 137GB support (you will need to reboot your system before disk wizard can support hard disk higher than 137GB), this is true eve if I have alredy partitioned my 160GB hard disk into 3 partitions.

    BTW, my current set-up:
    MOBO: PM2MP
    Proc: 2.4 GHz socket 478
    OS: Windows XP SP2
    Primary HD: 160GB seagate
    Secondary: 10GB seagte

basin nakaraan na ako set-up mao dili automatic na madetect ang 137GB na hard disk ang above.
