MANILA, Philippines - Upang makuha ang target collections na P860 bilyon sa taong ito, bubuwisan na rin ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang mga pedicab o de-padyak at iba pang public utility vehicles gaya ng tricycle at mga pampasaherong jeep.
Ayon kay BIR chief Kim Jacinto-Henares, dapat humingi ng resibo ang bawat pasahero na sasakay ng pedicab, tricycle o jeepney kung lampas sa P20 ang sisingilin sa kanilang pasahe.
Aniya, puwedeng mag-isyu ng kahit manual na resibo ang mga tsuper ng nasabing pampublikong mga sasakyan.
Ipinaliwanag pa ng BIR chief sa mga pedicab, tricyle at jeepney drivers na inaayos na nila ang sistemang ito para makamit ang target collection sa taong ito upang matustusan ang ibat ibang programa at proyekto ng bansa.
Hini***** din ni Henares ang mga professionals tulad ng doctor, abugado gayundin ang mga showbiz personalities na magbayad ng kanilang tamang buwis upang makaiwas sila sa tax evasion case.
