agree @brainfreeze:,i even knew some1 who breeds his completely blind shih tzu for the sake of making a money making venture.kaluoy sa dog,sa pups ug sa mga nakapalit sa pups kay the condition of their blind dam is congenital (i think its PRA).
i also knew a "couple" (noted by some as "doglovers" daw) who tried to buy a female adolescent Pug with mange & 1 blind eye kay barato ra daw & with papers pa,so "mabreed pa daw" kay gamay nalang paaboton mag heat na.mau nalang (in a positive thing),the pug died just before they ought' to get it.kay if wa pa,then mas luoy ang kadangatan sa dog in their hands.
