uban ana gi hunt pud.. medyo kana nga specie carnivorous na sya and scavenger.. kaon pud na dead animals og itlog sa manok...
naay new specie nadiscover diri sa pinas and murag the only in the world man cguro katong fruit eating monitor lizard.. medyo black og color to sya dili pareha ana na yellow..
modako pa na sya bay bata pa pud na... dili na sya venomous sakit lang na iyang kuku og iyang ikog og ma labtikan ka..

to be specific (yet not exact) it is a Philippine Water Monitor Lizard, and nope, it is not venomous..though its mouth tends to accumulate bacteria from carcasses if wild-caught
Idk too, but that's what the taxonomist label them.. I think it is because of their habit to swim in water, yet not literally live in water.. and yet, they are commonly found near bodies of water..

Maximum weight of Varanus salvator can be over 25 kg(55 pounds), but most are half that size. Their body is muscular with a long, powerful, laterally compressed tail. Water monitors are one of the most common monitor lizards found throughout Asia, and range fromSri Lanka, India, Indochina, the Malay Peninsula and various islands of Indonesia, living in areas close to water.
