In the first place, government agencies approved the permits beforehand. These people were in power when that happened. Why whine only now. If its used as a front for prostitution, I am definitely not for it. But, I hope people will also be open-minded to the benefits as these joints claim. Garcia sounded like biased kaayo siya sa Western ways while automatically discounting the ancient oriental practice

Authorities who don't really understand lingam massage are already jumping to conclusions as seen in the link below.

Cebu Daily News | Cebu's Only Independent Newspaper

The Cebu Provincial Women's Commission (CPWC) are so focused on anything lingam, they are letting the cheap and sleazy massage parlors elsewhere continue their prostitution acts. The cheap and sleazy joints offer sexual intercourse, BJs, and have women appear naked...such elements are not found in the professional lingam joints like ALM and Chuva-Chuva. I don't know about the other lingam parlors like AM-PM and 789.

As for the CPWC's "victory", the two lingam massage parlors in Mandaue were closed NOT FOR INDECENCY but for LACK OF PERMITS. I am sure the SWAC is smiling and cheering behind the scenes.

The authorities simply don't get it.

Local authorities should listen to the views of author Richard Crasta when it comes to lingam massage! He can teach them a lot and open their minds!
