This move has started after capturing and filing charges to the six junior military and 2 civilians just last week.

Sec. Bunye said that those power grabbers time is up and its time for the the government to make their move to eliminate this power trippers. Working with them are the full support of AFP and PNP.

The capture of these military officials only proved that the country was besotted with destabilizers during the proclamation of the state of national emergency. We cannot deny the fact that there were people involved in destabilizing the present government so as grab power that is vested to this administration.

May this be a wake up call to all those who plans time and again to destabilize this government. As long as the duty to protect the State and the people remains, the government should remain steadfast in promoting order and safety. We don't want to have anarchy.

This is another hot air of the government and the discredited military. How can they clobber the NPA when the AFP is teeming with its own rebels. The AFP is not united. Statistics show that more soldiers are killed than the NPA this year. The 1 billion "murder" fund will just end up in the pockets of corrupt officers of the AFP. No guns, no ammunitions, low pay equals demoralized ranks. Add to the fact that their chief Hermogenes Esperon is a known cheater together with GMA.

This is just an empty boast of the fascist GMA military cabal.

you say its not united? when they are one in calling of getting rid to this power grabbers.

I think if one went into battle, its understood, you will loose some, and win some... who and why on earth they would go into a battle without any weapons...

cheater? any avidence? even the impeachment case cannot move because of this crap...

When the government is planning good for its nation, some really keep on trying to meddle on it dreaming it won't pursue anymore...Thanks we have our freewill when some don't even have the gift of wisdom to know what is right from wrong...

I will make it easier for all of you. We have GMA and Esperon on one side who were accused of cheating with damning evidence to boot and we have Gen. Danilo Lim, Magdalo soldiers and TABAK who are calling for the ouster of Arroyo for sitting in Malcanang without the benefit of a people's mandate.

Now as an ordinary soldier, fresh from PMA, who are taught of the values of honesty, accountability, integrity and honor which of the two groups you will take side on? Definitely not GMA and Esperon who were not yet "cleared" of their misdeeds; who kept on dodging the truth.

Anyway this is a free country. If you believe we are well off right now, that our economy is good, that there is no widespread hopelessness and misery and poverty all around us, that there is no stealing lying and cheating in our government, that our society still stand up for the correct values then that is your decision. Nobody will prevent you from taking your stand if thats what you believe.

    @grabe..

you were saying that government is also planning good for the nation. Whats that? I hope thats specific because the latest that I know is that GMA has a bloated bureaucracy.

According to the CESB website, there are, as of February 28 this year, 3,278 career executive service officers (CESOs) and career executive service (CES) Eligibles in the government service, broken down as follows:

    CESOs - 2,008
    CES Eligibles - 1,270

Of this figure, there are 2,437 in CES positions (1,901 CESOs and 536 CES Eligibles) and 841 in Non-CES positions (107 CESOs and 734 CES Eligibles).

Meanwhile, of the 2,583 career executive positions filled in by Arroyo appointments, 1,085 are non-eligibles or political appointees.

But of course if you ask GMA, they are qualified. Only that their qualification is based on how they made “higop” (note: HIGOP and not SIPSIP) kay Gloria in the Palace. siyempre, their qualification is also based politically. Imagine how many votes were changed because of them.

but the most disturbing: Is this the economics that is taught by the school that GMA came from? I hope not, if not, can gloria’s alma mater offer her a refresher course on economics?
