@ygen: It was great. Clear jud cya and the sound was very good (unique for sm cinemas since most of their sound system sucks). However, I can't comment much about the movie in iMax format since I haven't seen a movie filmed using iMax cameras (I have nothing to compare it with).

oooh nice. i share the same opinion with you about SM's sound system in its cinemas. morag bungol. so kung nindot ang sounds sa IMAX diri sa SM Cebu, tngalig motan-aw sad ko balik. the movie demands a second or maybe even more viewings.

certified first imax veiwer here in cebu ko, even though kita nku og avatar in 3d gbalik jd nku og watch sa imax,funny coz kutob rajd ko sa middle sa movie ky gkabuhi jd ko, and ngsuka jd ko as in..nalipong jd ko, mura kog gduyan...

Rows J,K,L 15-19

further away from this area and you'll have distortion.

People often think that the best seats are above row M. While this might be a good way to see the entire screen, this only works well with digital versions of regular feature films--ergo if you're watching a made-for-IMAX movie (i.e. Space Station 3D or Hubble 3D), you'd miss out on the immersion you'd feel unless you're seated in the seats below row M.

Dili oi, mailhan pa ta'g buang basin i-kick out ko pagawas I just crossed the front row then went around the aisles to check for distortion--I couldn't sit on the seats for testing kay naa naman naglingkod Besides, the real Sheldon Cooper test is really more of an audio test--I think IMAX audio is perfect bisan asa ka nga seats.

350 ang ticket, didn't know about the best seats until i read this post =) but we got the J19-20 and they were awesome seats
