Great phone for the price, I bought this phone purely out of curiosity and while waiting for the Samsung i9000 Galaxy S to be released outside of Globe, very impressed with the phones performance, the real wow factor for this phone is the screen, speed and affordability!
Im not really type of app-centric person where I need to install over a dozen apps and only use the messaging and keypad application =P
Just thought I'd torture test the phone's video playback last night; tried playing a 2.9GB MKV of Lost's final episode (res is HD 720p). I was expecting a crash kay it took a few seconds for the video to load because of the filesize, pero lo and behold it played like a champ.
Mejo choppy cya with certain XviD/DivX video files. I think depende gi unsa pag encode sa movie kay I only got really minor choppy playback on some, the rest smooth kaayo. What I noticed tho is its really optimized for mp4's and mkv's using the H.264 codec.
ok pud ni siya nga phone. but mas ganahan ko sa akong galaxy. hehe. pero nindot ni kay barato pud.
@EarlZ: what brand of micro sd card do you recommend?
i bought one last tuesday and i'm really satisfied with it. i've been waiting for this for weeks and now i have one on my pocket.
the first thing that you will notice is the screen. it's the best i ever seen on a phone: bright and crisp.
the second one is the camera/camcorder. man, the picture and video it capture are great even at dark with it's bright led 'flash.'
video playback is superb but it takes a while for the video to load. i tried mkv and avi. anyway, have anyone tried running an srt file with the video? how about mkv with built-in subtitle?
anyway, the phone is an instant hit at the office when i showed it to my officemates with a lot of the surprised when i told them that it only cost 18.5k. usual comment is the smooth ui, crisp display, great build quality, camera that could rival cheap point-and-shoot and a look that doesn't ape the iphone or androids.
