**No reason dili mopasa ang bill to implement more taxes and extra charges sa companies that are outsourcing customer service rep jobs kay the US government are doing whatever they can to collect funds. Bisan bottled water, wines and chocolates just recently lang naa napud additional tax because of the deficit. People here do not want anymore property tax hike (kay unsa man daghan man gani homeowners na foreclosed/bankowned) so now because of unemployment, they are pointing at companies who are outsourcing whatever jobs. Kung pwede tae sa kalapati tagaan tax, dugay rana nahitabo. And that proposed bill will get a lot of votes. Suko kaayo mga tao diri walay work, so law makers to make the Americans happy, and to create income, hala tax-an jud dayun. It is compromising kay they can't really illegalize outsourcing kay moingon man ang companies nga they can't afford it here in the US, they'd rather close down or minimize their productions. Closing down or minimizing productions will hurt the US economy gihapon. The US government also do not want more and more companies getting encouraged to outsource their call centers. It's a compromise really.

Customer service is just really part of doing business but not the core thing of the business. It is just important to take care of customers thus the need for a customer service center. The main thing in a business is the multitude of production and distribution to the consumers.

Wow, is it really the 'IT' thing to be a call center agent there? Gosh, that's weird. No wonder when I was there, I saw a lot of people nga naka-name tag bisan kadlawn or sayu sa buntag, obvious kaayo nga humana ang shift.

corporations control governments, not the other way around...so ayaw mo kahadlok...

pero on a more positive light, if ever mawagtang ang call centers sa atoa, it would serve as a wake up call to filipinos...working in a call center should never be a career, it's one of the lowest jobs here abroad...

with an excess in man-power and natural resources, i dont see why the philippines cant be a manufacturing and industrial powerhouse like other advanced asian countries...

i got depressed the other day, when i saw the flags of the G20, i didnt expect to find Indonesia's flag there...and even Vietnam got invited...i was like "what the f**k?!"

i dont think so. there are lots of people who doesnt have a job here in the states. and i know for sure they would do the job if it will come back here, but i know the companies will never do that because it can affect the pay. they dont want to pay the amount they are paying to our people here.
