    Hi miss,

The way Citisec works is that you deposit to your online trading account through a bank. Their website has complete instructions. The money sits in your account and is shown as buying power. When you buy stocks, the value is reflected in your portfolio as stocks and the buying power adjusted automatically. Once you sell, the proceeds go back to your buying power automatically.

The advantage to this is there's no need to wait for the 3 days after transaction that normally happens with traditional brokers and you can buy and sell as often as you want even on the same trading day, and conveniently too. But the biggest advantage really is that you save a lot because of lower fees.

Also, tracking is way easier coz portfolio reports are incorporated in the website. Plus, if you get cash dividends, they are reflected automatically in your cash/buying power.

I could go on. But I also like my traditional broker. I like the idea of being able to text my broker for trade orders even when I'm away from the computer. Plus I can buy stocks with no cash and pay 2 days later when they collect it personally. (ATR Kim Eng uses messengers to collect payments and also to deliver checks straight to your office) Also, ATR's reports are superb in quality.

For these and more reasons, I'm using both brokers at the same time. About 80% of my total portfolio is online though and the rest with ATR. Hope that helps.

Bro, ako advice lang sa imoha if your going to start investing with real money to avoid stocks nga below 5 pesos kay very volatile ni sila ang dali ra ayo nila imanipulate. Good ra ni sila for day trading or for quick plays..

Learn how to do swing trading lang bro.. Gamit ayo ni siya sa mga tao nga duna day time job..
If dili gihapon madala coz of time constraints then go Peso Cost Averaging sa CitisecOnline and buy stocks with good fundamentals..

Bro naa lang ko question.. You mention time base imoha exit and you can estimate the day to exit the stock.. Unsaon nimo ni siya pagdetermine? Are you using fibonacci time zone? Example daw bro..

Usually in my case I am using the ATR + MA combination to set my TP. Gamit pud ko candlestick patterns to determine the market sentiment of that stock aron makahibaw ko if its time to take some profit.

Regarding sa volatility how do you determine it? What is that specific thing na imo gimention that you are looking at? Example daw.. I'm using volume and ATR for this..

To our readers, add lang ko info about sa BETA.. Mao ni siya ginagamit pud sa uban traders as a measurement to determine the riskiness sa isa ka stock in terms sa iya correlation to a specific market index.
ahhh grabe ka busy... This is an ongoing play na ako ta e post pag 7/13 pero d jd madala. http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3...versalplay.png

Company is POTASH CORP, Ticker symbole: POT. Go to finance.google.com to get the info. Ang akong gnatan aw sa stock is it's % FLOAT. The lesser it is the better, Law of supply and demand ni cya. This is the prioriity jd nako in determining a stocks "volatility", the VOLUME is only a catalyst of the move. THe more volume or attention it gets, the more volatile it becomes .

This is where the price is now http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/6718/potnow.png

So In profit na by $10/X contracts (1 contract =100 shares) .

    Trade entry: 7/8 @
Exit: July 19 => earnings announcemnt

If you have 1 IN THE MONEY CALL CONTRACT, you would have earned >$1000 in a week. In options trading ug margin trading, bsag gamay ra kaau na ang time decay(options) or interest in margined account, it's still gonna count as a loss and overtime if you add up all that tiny losses, ma surprise jd ka. My trades last for 2 months max jd. But If I see stocks with the likes of POT(1% float ra), Then It would just take me days ra in the trade. Ang advantage lng sa options kay the more na mu move ang underlying stokcs sa imong direction, the contract becomes more valuable that the time decays slows down significantly(ug contract value kay "abnormally" mu dako) and when sayop ka, the delta will decrease to your favor. Delta measures the move vs the underlying, meaning sa akong IN THE MONEY OPTION CONTRACT(ITM) with a delta of .99%, when the stock moves $1, the option value also moves $1 but in reality it moves more. Pero if sayop ko, ang delta ani kay ga ka decrease so if ni move ang stock -1 na, the delta becomes 95% nlng move vs the underlying which ang change of delta is measured by the gamma mn cgure ug theta to(ug yes pirting lisura sabton sa option pero rewarding kaau when you do)

I hope na answer nako imong question kay d jd ko maau aning salestalk.

FYI lng sa tanan: The way I trade is sooooo simpol. Ang ga manage sa stock swing trades nako kay ang akong wife. HEHEHE. If you would only believe how much she made in 1 day sa stock na BP katong ga oil leak cla...
cge auau bantay sako sa akong anak

Congratz bro... Breakout naman diay ni imoha stocks from the downtrendline resistance..
Bro, explain daw unsa ng gamma, theta, ug delta? sa asa ni sila gigamit ug unsaon pagamit?
Ang ako ra nagamit so far kay ang Beta ra jud..
