speakingÂ* of new wave gigs.....who can remember these bands? they use to play at artist dais...way,way back in 1998. yup, those were the good old days..new wave nites and new mornings...never mind the masses...

salad days - which transformed into love satellites, the drummer now is with missing filemon

d'rockersÂ* - my favorite local act ever.....where were you when your mother was born? feel sorry for everyone who didn't witnessed their live performances..manila-based band sonnet 58 was enthralled by them when they performed at the now defunct padi's at country mall. anyways, two members are now with idle. miah their enigmatic frontman is in chicago..sayang.
wrote an article about them..check it out on indiecultureonline...of junkshops something was the title. already forgot that was ages ago when i wrote it.

curious blossoms - female-fronted four-piece. playing stuff from sugarcubes (bjork's then-band), darling buds etc. their bassist ron2x is now also with MF

babygram - now known as The Spirals. a never was and a never were....

grounded by grandma - i never really like the name.hehehe.but keyboard-inspired originals and a ringing guitar would really kill you.
guitarist then was an original member of scrambled eggs. drummer now is with idle



close your eyes once more......because the experience still continues
