Hmm. The constitution doesnt bar us from having Nuclear Powerplants. The submarine in question is no different from the Standard Nuclear Power Plant. The issue here is that if the presence of foreign troops in the philippines constitutional. Is the presence Nuclear Sub part of the VFA? If it is, then it's constitutional. If not, then it's not. Its just that simple.

    Duh.. conspiracy theories..

but the sub has tomahawk missles, w/c is capable of having a nuclear warhead.. & if the US goes to war w/ china or north korea.. i dont think they'd do it alone w/ conventional warfare & conventional warheads.. since both are nuclear capable.. & besides they dont allow anyone else to inspect a nuclear submarine cause its classified, the coast guard of AFP have no way in determining if they carried nukes or not cause they cant enter it .. out of 160 warheads, at least 10 might be nukes if ever they have to go to war.. the nuke sub is the most efficient way of a nuclear counter attack.. they can go for months in water, pop out fire & disappear.. unlike land based silos & aircraft w/ may be limited to range..

The Chinese does not have to send a fleet of soldiers or submarine full of what-ya-ma-call-it-biological warheads to wipe out our country. All they have to do is launch a rocket from the mainland and address it to either Malacanang or senate. Since, we don't have the technology to intercept missiles. So, I guess Philippines is Kaput!

So duol ra kaayo ta! Because the Philippines is a former colony of the US, they have an "obligation" to defend us against any aggressors.
They won't launch the real force from a FINANCIAL CAPITAL, Shanghai is a City, not a military base......... well, bang-an mos fortification sa Manila Bay, especially ang Coregidor ug kung pakusgon lang jhug maayo.......... we can defend ourselves baya. Naa bitaw ang U.N.

If China starts aggression, then it's China vs The World Nations.

The claim that the sub is carrying nuclear weapon is mere speculation and unsubstantiated.
The government can always demand from the US to let the submarine undergo an inspection or be forced to leave the country. (if our leaders have the political will to do it)
The submarines presence here in the Philippines is still legal.

Please support your claim that it is "bawal", unconstitutional, or illegal for a nuclear powered vessels to enter Philippine waters.
