Hmm. The constitution doesnt bar us from having Nuclear Powerplants. The submarine in question is no different from the Standard Nuclear Power Plant. The issue here is that if the presence of foreign troops in the philippines constitutional. Is the presence Nuclear Sub part of the VFA? If it is, then it's constitutional. If not, then it's not. Its just that simple.
Duh.. conspiracy theories..
but the sub has tomahawk missles, w/c is capable of having a nuclear warhead.. & if the US goes to war w/ china or north korea.. i dont think they'd do it alone w/ conventional warfare & conventional warheads.. since both are nuclear capable.. & besides they dont allow anyone else to inspect a nuclear submarine cause its classified, the coast guard of AFP have no way in determining if they carried nukes or not cause they cant enter it .. out of 160 warheads, at least 10 might be nukes if ever they have to go to war.. the nuke sub is the most efficient way of a nuclear counter attack.. they can go for months in water, pop out fire & disappear.. unlike land based silos & aircraft w/ may be limited to range..
