Pardon my ignorance... Need your help mga bro. I just bought a WD 500bg SATA HD para add/slave nako sa ako pc. Ako pangutana kay naa 3 options ang sa jumper sa hd, one for SSC, one for power up in standby & another for enabling 1.5GB PHY...asa man nga setting dapat nako ibutang ang jumper kung e-slave or e add ni nako?

^^ According to Western Digital brad WD SATA hard drives are factory set for workstation/desktop use.
For enterprise storage requirements, the jumpers can be set to enable spread spectrum clocking or power-up in standby modes. - Basically what this means is you are good to go with your sata drive by the time you bought it. If you have a system drive then automatic nana cya mahimong slave nig taod nmo ana using the sata cable. Unlike IDE before na you have to manually set the jumpers to enable slave drive. no need to set jumper bro kay ang mga SATA HDDs karun is automatic nana siya.

Bro, applicable rana ang jumper settings sa mga ide where kailangan nimo e set ang usa ug slave if ever naa nakay master nga hdd sa imong primary...
