British Researchers graded 10 dog breeds on a scale of 0-15 in identifying the presence of15 signals that wolves use to convey threat or submission.nine of them were threat signals and included growling,standing erect,standing over an opponent,& baring teeth.six submissive signals included muzzle licking,looking away,crouching,passive submission,& a submissive grin.
A grade of 15/15 was given to the siberian husky sharing the most "wolfish" qualities observed.in order,huskies are follwed by: 2.golden retrievers (12/15),3.german shepherd dogs (11/15),4.labrador retrievers (8/15),5.munsterlander (7/15),6.cocker spaniels (6/15),7.shetland sheepdogs (4/15),8.french bulldogs (4/15),9.norfolk terrier (3/15), 10.cavalier king charles spaniel (2/15).
