RANGEMASTER (or R.M)- has the over-all authority over all persons and activities within the entire range, including range safety, the operations of all courses of fire and the applications of these rules. All match disqualifications and appeals to arbitration must be brought to his attention. He is appointed by NROI (in the case of IPSC) he works in close coordination with the Match Director (or M.D)... in the case of IDPA, the equivalent term for the Range Master is the Match Director.Both, Range Master(R.M) or Match Director(M.D) are appointed and called as such- DURING A TOURNAMENT.

Yogie Javier of N.S, Jun Liao of Kamagong, Rey Abad of Club Ultima, Concord Fabillar of front sight gunclub, William of Talisay Aqua, Lito Ladroma of Casey GunClub, and Adonis Uy of C.P.R.A are called or in equivalent to Range MANAGERS OR in some cases are called Range Wardens. sometimes, they do are called In-house Range Masters but rarely.

In which case, all names above are almost always- ALSO Range Officers (R.O in the case of IPSC) or Safety Officers (S.O in the case of IDPA), some are both and are called Range/Safety Officers.

In this regard, there is another scheduled SEMINAR for those who want to become S.O's sometime in August. we will get back to you on this soon.

and in relation to REY ABAD, I am proud to say, I am one of his pioneer students, and the first of his students to become both as a SAFETY OFFICER of IDPA and RANGE OFFICER of IPSC...and as Assistant Area Coordinator for PPSA.
