    Default burnin somethin.,.


    i have this 1.4gig movie file in my hdd and i was plannin to burn it on data disc usin dvd but my writer keeps on rejecting my blank dvd's., i can only burn vcd's now., crap., so im planning to burn this using dvd., does anybody here know how i can cut a video? so i can burn it like disc 1 and disc t., i tried ulead .,movie maker but dey wont import my video.,nyway im just hopin you guys have any idea what i can do.,tnx :mrgreen:

    If it's an avi file, VirtualDub does it best. Make sure to set audio and video to Direct Stream Copy. This way, no transcoding or reencoding occurs. VirtualDub will simply cut the movie file without quality loss.

    If it's an mpeg1 or mpeg2 file, TMPGEnc MPEG Editor does the job accurately fast without quality loss. Transcoding only occurs before the first keyframe where you marked in.
