War is a big business, and when starting a war you'll spend billions and besides the americans, maybe

they want to try their new weapons

Like the stealth fighter The F-117A Nighthawk, obsolete naman na

maybe they'll try this new fighter F-22 Raptor Stealth Fighter

The F-22 Raptor is a new breed of super-fighter for the 21st century. It combines, speed, stealth, low upkeep, agility, and surprise to accomplish the necessary tasks at hand.

    uhm, war.

bitaw niingon man gud ang NoKor na any action that would pressure them because of their missile tests, they would see it as a declaration of war. Around 1.5 million soldiers will cross the DMZ zone and around 5000 artillery units will bombard Seoul. Japan will experience a rain of missiles from the Nodong to Rodong and all kinds of dongs... Japan retaliates and it angers China. China attacks and then the Mid East countries side with China. Global war na dayon.
hehe. all kind of dongs. that cracks me up.

no war will happen. how will nokor feed their troops, fuel their tanks, planes and ships during the hypothetical invasion? they cannot afford to. rain of missiles to japan? i doubt it. even if they plan to the world will notice it. you got prep those missiles, right? spy satellites will see 'em.
yep no war will happen my view...

BUT that is a an option that nokor could take with an aim of a at least a permanent peace treaty for the secession of hostilities and recognition of the north korea as a permanent com. nation. u know NOKOr is really paranoid that the US and most western powers do not really racognize it as a permanent state and somewere in the future when the time is right they will be attacked by the superpower and its allies.

And if there is a war , a war for the world to gurantee its existance what time is best, maybe its now while the US is about to be over stretch on two fronts iraq and afghan ........

those high tech spy satellites, stealth fighters bombmers...etc will have no effect( though it would be like a meat grinder as the north's troop rushes in to the south it will still have enough millions to have a savage warfare in the cities and jungles) because the north had always in the red alert or kinda until now on war status its millions of troops and equipment(mostly obsolete by western standard but they are in good large numbers) are strategicaly position in the border(that why the only effective defence in case north will attack in surprise is the land mines ).... and like when eastern germany collapse the west learned in horror how the east was prepared for waR its tank and heavy equipment are loaded with live ammo parked near the border.. and the USA cannot stop the 10,000 artillery shells which will hit seoul the city which is near the border... and because they dont have food and cannot sustain prolong war
it'S war doctrine is to inflict heavy casualties on the south and U.S allied armies to the point that a negotiated peace deal with gurrantee of regime existance at the very minimum will be sign with the main powers involved...

KIm knows it's time will come

and it won't happen. China will never let US plays on his own backyard. and you forgot to factor in sokor. annihilate? that's sounds too extreme like to kill all north koreans. that's why there's an "IF" at the start of my statement. annihilate as far as all military targets, launch pads, silos, military installations and the like.. the US still abide by the rules of war even if there are some instances where their soldiers do otherwise..

    __________________________________________________ _______________________________
even if they succesfully topple nokor government, what's next? it will be disasterous to sokor and china. nokor economy is close to nothing. and it will be china and sokor responsibility to take care of north koreans.

some US senators interviewed on CNN already expressed support on accepting 200-300K N Korean refugees if China or S Korea helps in facilitating their transfer. other countries ie Great Britain and other allies, I think, would follow suit.
