if you want to invest in business, invest your 50K in a business that you have passion for, and not something just for the sake of having a business. Preferably one that has gained you some past work experience or knowledge. It will be advantageous for you in the long run. Remember, not all business people are entrepreneurs (i.e. sari-sari store owners are not entrepreneurs, if you know what i mean)
Research and knowing yourself is the only key to finding the right business for you. Reading materials like "Entrepreneur" or DTI's GoNegosyo could help you on finding your start up business.

if you don't have the heart for business, try paper assets like mutual funds, bonds, and stocks.
