Kinsa na ang nakasuway ug gamit aning mga softwares? tinuod ba na makaubos sila ug processor temperature?

naa naman built in sa bios. but if you're overclocking they can become a hindrance.
Nope, the only software driver that actually work was the patch that nvidia released for nF2 motherboards.Originally Posted by Wyrdo
if you have an amd proc with cool n quiet, it has a function that halves its clock cycle (and as an effect decrease heat) when not in duty cycle.
as far as "software-only" solution i dont think it works that well, the technology must be supported by the hardware (proc and or mobo) to work that well.
.. i think i tried one 'cpu-idle' man tingali to ang name. i tried it on a northwood p4, no significant benefit.(3 years ago)
dili diay jud sya mowork? abi nako sayop ra ako method. also tried cpu-idle pero murag wala jud syay effect. tried "rain" and "waterfalls" pero win 98 ra man ilang gisupport. sayang, abi nako ok to sila.
I've tried installing "nForce2 C0/C1/C2 Cooling Patch by The NGO Group" on my Epox 8RDA3G mobo, it worked as its said, but mine decreases CPU and chipset temps by 2-3 degrees. After 3 months, namurot ang capacitors sa akong motherboard and cge na og hang-up. I suspected it was the cooling patch thats responsible for the damage. I never tried it again./Originally Posted by EarlZ
aw, batia pod diay ang effect for just 3 degrees temperature change.
get the hardware...
