Bantog ra for so many years, CIT is still producing as much engineers as USC. :P
Anyway, nus-a naka 100% passing ang USC? Well and good then. Congratz.
As for CHED, well, ang gibasihan ana nila kay if ang school maka-produce ug passing percentage above the national passing. Thankfully, maka-produce ra man gihapon ang CIT ug above. Kay if dili na, dili na kaau ma-challenge ang taga USC sa mga quiz bowls. Heheh. Peace!
USC preparation for quiz bowls kay marag wala lang! promise marag wala ra gyud!

    ahahaha

kani nga thread, di na ni angay lalison. hehe.. mas nindot man jud ang engineering school sa USC compared to CIT kai sa facilities panang daan ug sa ila mga laboratories kai nindut jud sa USC, while ang CIT pobre mn gud dn d pa pud ka afford ug upgrade sa uban facilities ba since barato ra ang tuition then wala pa pud na university pero nindut ang training. but then, hapit naman dw ma university ang CIT, i think july mn cguro, and sa ako na dunggan, hehe suportado mn dw ang school sa gobyerno if university na so maita mu nindut napud ang facilities sa CIT. hehe.. para nku jud ae kai sa facilities ra ni differ ang 2 schools.. wa mn pud cguroi maestro/maestra nga mu tudlog binuang in both schools.. ehhehe.. it only depends on the students if nhan ba makat-on and they'll defintitly be successfull in life no matter what school they came from..

haha.. ti-ti.on kaau ko du.. loyal teknoy here!! BSARCH haha..

^^ Haha. I think the existence of this thread is not to belittle any of the school (USC or CIT) but to exchange ideas as to what is needed for the other one to be as good as the other. Of course, naa gyud na ang comparison. Let's just try nga dili ma below the belt ang discussion. So far, healthy pa man. Nag-play rako devil's advocate. Wahehe...

So up for this thread! :P

    yeah! haha.. up up up!!

guys let's all keep a healthy thread ok? para dili ni maClose..

anyways, wa nako mubasa sa previous two pages kai kapoie ug duka ko pero i would like to share my reaction lang sa page nga akong nabasa...

what brings us down flipinos in a scientific point of view kai ang quality sa atong education, the more we say nga dapat sayun and everything, the more we give less attention to technological progress...

if we don't invest pain, we cannot obtain the optimal capacity we need for progress. am not saying anythin' nga ang CIT kai d maayu, but at least let us not keep that as an excuse ang kai lage pobre mi ug kai lage dato mo ug kanang pasaron nalang kai nangailangan mapasar, it does not demonstrate objectivity but pity... if an individual do not deserve to pass a subject, then it is of valid grounds to fail him, kung interesado jud na siya sa subject, then in the first place he/she must have passed it... learning don't come with bare newsprints and calculators only, you have to invest to gain quality...

we cannot actually say nga ang mga instructor sa USC hilig manghagbong kai mga rich kid kasagaran.. i would like to correct this statement kai it's a clear mis-interpretation jud.
objective ang mga faculty didto. You deserve to fail, then you fail.

and as CIT as a threat, USC must have been a threat to CIT nuon rankwise, CIT maoy hawud sa Engineering pagsaunang panahon, mao gud na ang pinakaGahi sa engineering pagsauna, now i'm surprised nga nanai mga USC nga muTop, 1st ug 2nd pajud... (open for corrections)

never jud na basis nga gamai nakapasar anah eskwelahana, if you grasp a handful of sand in the seashore, makakuha jud ka ug daghan nga small shells, same thing japun if you pick them one by one, the only thing that differs lang kai there's less sand than shells...

Im not a technologian so point taken... If thats their cup of tea then let it be.. mind set sad na nila..

Quality of of brain cells to the one who top maybe but not necessarily on graduates itself haha dont take it seriously.. A case in point lets just say ur school was able produce 100 Engineering graduates but then again only 25 were able pass the board and qualify to practice their profession...what about those 75 pseudo engineers/engineering grads??... is that what you call quality graduate/s??

In case you didn't know man gud, CIT has a very effective mentoring programs nga mo-actively participate ang mga above-average student lang. Dili man pud gud nato mapugos ang dili ganahan.
Its not about producing a large number of graduates who can pass the board mate.. rather a quality of graduates---->> which is competent enough in the aspect of his/her chosen profession/course, passing the board exam is only a portion of what it is to be a competent graduate) after all the main purpose of board exam is to calibrate if a person is competent enough to practice in his chosen field.. Tell me I am wrong and Id humbly stand and corrected.. oops by the way USC did not mass produce its graduates to only pass the board mind you... kagamay ra sa amung Eng. graduates ug i compare nimu sa uban...

But better gyud if coupled unta ug good review classes before the board exam. Whatcha think?
Never underestimate the power of hardwork mate.. I used to taste poverty too when I was still in college... mind you I never enroll in a review center wla nakoy ginikanan.. nag trabaho gani ko sa buntag unya tuon sa gabie... huwam ko libro sa library sa pharm...

kahinumdum hinoun ko anang mga "looks fam" nga style sa review sa mga engineering nga akung kaila sa CIT... haha memorize sa question..
