you should answer my question. on that particular post, i never told u nga maayo ang school kay naa hing-top. stay in the subject of the argument. the question is if it matters if a certain school produces a topnotcher. but come to think of it, if maka-produce ug topnotcher ang isa ka school, dili diay pud na reflection nga 'medyo' ok pud ang quality sa education? dili pud ta kaingon nga makatsamba lang ang CIT sa pagproduce ug topnotchers, kay dili man gyud mawagtangan every year. same as USC, d ba?

oh, don't make that an excuse kay kung gusto jud ka mkapasar sa board kay maningkamot jud ka bisan d ka ka afford sa review center.
Whether an excuse or not, that is the reality. a valid one. one of the deciding factor sa passing percentage sa isa ka school. ayt?

ngek nganu man diay kung university? how bout MIT(MAPUA), the best producing engineering school in the phils?.
    peace and love y'all.[/QUOTE]
Exactly. That is exactly zyper's point! That USC is a university. And that CIT is not yet as of the moment. Imagine an institution not yet having a university status which is being considered a threat of USC in quiz bowls and board examinations?

Topping the board is more of a personal achievement pal and the rest-->> learning nana sa school... It doesn't necessarily assume for instance that because USC have a lesser Topnotcher in a particular exam you would automaticaly equate it as Dili maayo ug training....

    Student selectivity+Comprehensive Curriculum+High Caliber Faculty+Excellent Facilities&Equipments+Industry and Academic Linkages(for research)+ Good Academic Environment=Excellent training

Hahaha!! too presumptive kaayu ka da especially the 4-bold-red-letter... lets just say tanan ni take sa CIT walay gyuy kwarta (but thats Highly unlikely to happen haha!!) para review matod pa nimu...but would that be an excuse para dili sila maningkamot ug adto sa library magtuon..,, what about their learnings in 5 straight years of going to school??... Matod pato sa isa ka Forum er diri bahalag hagbong basta naa lai top.. hahaha!!! inyu pud nah.. Paging Madina and cohorts?? where are you now.. I need your replies.. please do let your proffs to join this forum.. I would love to have an Intelligent exchange with them but not necessarily a word war or patas anay ug ihi!! kai concern ko sa CIT... ganahan ko mumata na sila...
Mas maayo pa diay me kay bisag non-sectarian school pero among instructor kamao malooy where-in SAN CARLOS dako kaayong santos mga instructor di kamao malooy. I think base on my observation asta ang kinaiya og binuhatan sa mga estudyante sa USC layo rajud kaayo compared to USJR.

peace.....paging to kwitis ,scandalous people (u know what i mean) haha and also to arrogant peolple. I already made my reply....ganahan napud ko momata ka.

Nice one you've got, mate. I'm refering to the equation for an excellent training. I admit CIT needs to work on Industry and Academic Linkages.

As to your question why most of the Technologians are Topnotcher fanatic - well then, the answer is CULTURE coupled with tradition. As a freshman student, makakita ka sa Wall of Fame sa CIT - dili na na mawagtang sa imo thinking ang goal to top the board exams. Now, can you blame the Technologians for that?

As for the basis of claims nga toppping the board is an evidence of a quality graduate, why not? Perhaps you are referring to the ability of the school to mass-produce graduates who can pass the board? If its the latter, then well, admittedly, as i already posted before, CIT has to work on reaching out more to the below-average learners. In case you didn't know man gud, CIT has a very effective mentoring programs nga mo-actively participate ang mga above-average student lang. Dili man pud gud nato mapugos ang dili ganahan.

For me I would not percieve it as a threat... both schools are respectively doing its best to produce great product I mean graduates to contribute in the development of our beloved SUGBU and in our country in general... It more of a healthy competition..
By threat, i did not mean any negative aspects of it. Threat, meaning always there to challenge USC. We both know that their is a healthy competition going on between the two, kay if ang isa lang ang mo-dominate every now and then, naay possibility dili na mo-give ug extra effort para makadaug ang isa ka side kay mawad-an na ug challenge.

Hahaha!! too presumptive kaayu ka da especially the 4-bold-red-letter... lets just say tanan ni take sa CIT walay gyuy kwarta (but thats Highly unlikely to happen haha!!) para review matod pa nimu...but would that be an excuse para dili sila maningkamot ug adto sa library magtuon..,, what about their learnings in 5 straight years of going to school??... Call me presumptive, but that's how i look into the matter. And i know plenty. Wala pud ko muingon na TANAN.I even meant the minority ("the rest"). Magtuon lang sa library? Common. This is the reality mate. A good review sessions before the board can actually help shape your chances to pass. 5 straight years going to school? Make it seven for some Technologians. But better gyud if coupled unta ug good review classes before the board exam. Whatcha think?

Wow, i like playing the devil's advocate here. Hehe. Healthy discussion on USC vs CIT going on!

I understand your sentiments bro but nganung mu Empathize man ka sa estudyante if dili gyud cya angay papasaron?? Education should be fair and objective because it is also the responsibility of the student to learn and meet the school standards and not merely based on tangibility of the professor... DUDE YOU CAN GET A DIPLOMA BUT NOT NECESSARILY AN EDUCATION... LAHI NA ANG DUHA MAO NAY ANGAY NIMU HINUMDUMAN..., haha mediocre ug lame kaayu imung excuse.., sorry gyud kaayu....

But if I were the Dean I will pattern CIT to the likes of MSU-IIT which only accept those deserving students...
