dili tanan....my friend ordered sa vs online she paid P16k including shipping after that UPS sent her an email that she has to pay 4k customs tax and will be collected upon delivery...

i suggest before u buy ask the seller first if it customs taxes is included

i ordered wholesale havaianas in brazil before and they use fedex as the courier..customs taxes is not included with the shipping too...paid $2000 including shipping and broker quoted that i have to pay P33k + other expense pa

FYI, its like this, there are 2 kinds of forwarder.

(1) Pouch and parcels (such as Fedex, UPS,DHL), these are suppose to be less than 30kilos and with value Usd500 max. These are considered informal entry.

(2) freight forwarders, may it be AIR or SEA, if SEA, it can be Less Container Load (LCL) or Full Container Load (FCL either 20',40', 40'HQ, 45') with unlimited value.

If your shipment is more than 30kgand beyond usd500 value, mas cheaper if you go for forwarders.. I'm into logistics/forwarding business, we do importation/exportation & brokerage.

dali ra mag shop. ang payment ang lisod. instead of using your credit card, get a paypal account. mao bitaw gipalit na sa ebay ang paypal because its easier and safer to use paypal than your credit card.
