3500 is a lot pero if u come to think of it worth it naman sad sya kay hinay man kau ang turnover sa games sa blizzard. imagine 12 years na gyud since starcraft 1. if mau gyapun ni ang trend then ull be spending 3500 for a game that still has value even after 10 years. =)

I agree. Imagine games na uban - single player without multiplayer(or with but not as good as Blizzard's) - more or less 1-2 months ra. Blizzard years. Hell, people still play WC3 online now.

Anyways Blizzard did say no release date sa expansion, but yes, I guess ang first(zerg) will be next year.

Yup. ako sad, dili deserving ang 3.5k. Kaduwa sd ko sa beta, wala ko ganahi sa gameplay.

Mag huwat lng ko kung unsay mahitabo sa korea about sc2 kay ang esports ddtu ang pina ka mature about ani. As of now im still playin broodwar, and there is still a bunch of pinoy playing competitive broodwar.

You think starcraft2 will surpass starcraft1? To think na ang developer sa blizzard ky na change nah, hangol kaau ug kwarta naa nmn untay WoW. Thats why naa koi doubt pajud. And also you can play your 3.5k in battlenet only with a crappy internet connection here in pinas, ambot nlng kung lag ni. bitaw for me lang, dli pjud deserving. Pero im still hoping na ma nndut ang outcome after a few months sa iyang release.

@edge_owns: the supplier didnt make any promises of any CE. but as always they just said that theyll try their best. they made only about 2000 copies daw for the CE and most likely bulk of that will go to U.S. na. after the 2000, di na daw sila mag publish any more CE

para naku di man sad gyud ta maka blame ni blizzard for jacking the price up to 3500. dugay na man sad gyud sya gi develop. according to wiki, its development already started as early as 2005. for 5 years, daku sad tingali kayu ila expenses ana for development, marketing, future maintenance and etc. wa man tay paki sa ilang mga expenses pero syempre they still take it into consideration when pricing the game. not to mention the millions they spend for each of their launching in different countries and sa mga contests they're going to hold in the future. by the way, they said na to be eligible to enter the tourneys the player must hav at least one valid account daw for starcraft 2. not sure though how true this is and how they plan to enforce it.

with regards to it being worth it or dili, makibawan ra man gyud na nimu at the end of game's life. for starcraft 1 we can say na worth it sya because we know already the game has lived for more than 12 years, gwapu ang storyline nya (in memory of tessadar lol), and etc. para naku, just knowing na wala syay LAN, or bati iya beta wont really be enough to say na the 3500 was worth it haha. so if youre going to wait for it to be worth the price siguru mawala na ang kasikat sa starcraft 2 or siguru maabtan pa kag starcraft 3. anyway, mao lang na akung 2 cents on the matter =)
