and so we bought this NIKON D90 with 18-200 ... just a day ago... and were taking it out into the streets, under the bridge, over the seas and above the clouds. we will be taking tons of pictures... and probably spend the next few years to come mastering the art of real photography... without the aide of digital manipulation through PS...

Apil sad ko hatag akong opinion para ma-lawgaw imo huna2x ( Joke ra).Guessing from the lens your eyeing for is that your into Portraiture/Photojournalism photography, sakto ba? But I agree with the most people here that lahi ra gyud ang fast/good quality glass compared sa PP. Yes its a good practice to get it right on the camera first. Cause it will save you tons of time in PP.
But it dose'nt hurt man pod to be good on both Photography and Photoshop.

+1 ko sa katong spend less time editing and more time shooting.. It's such a great feeling to know that you got the picture right than fixing it..
if you are serious about photography you should invest on a good lens.. I got a 50mm f/1.8 after a month I started photography more than 2 years ago.. and now it's still attached to my cam..
If you have the endurance to edit hundreds of photographs and are not planning to go professional, you achieve your satisfaction through photoshop. I think there is nothing wrong with photoshopping your images. You just acknowledge before your viewers that you alter your images.
thank you kaayo sa inyong feedback mga master. actually, i'm not a newbie aning bisyoha. been shooting for 6 years now and know a little PP. i'm just amazed w/ what photoshop can do ( in the hands of a master). my current lens lineup are the ff. nikkor 180mm2.8, 18-105vr,70-300vr,55mm2.8AFmicro,tok 11-16, Tammy70-200 2.8, 17-552.8 and the only kind of images it cant nearly duplicate are the ones taken by the micro and the UWA lenses. Sharpness,tone,bokeh are all almost equal IMHO. btaw sakto pud na kapoy na dugay PP and if u want to have good quality images na wanai daghan langas. once again thank you mga master sa mga tambag. regards and Godbless!
@radiostar- thx for the tip.
