i used to go there to pray when i was in college (Taoism is a philosophy, not a religion, hence anyone of whatever creed can pray in their temples, unless of course your beliefs contradict doing so)
my favorite spot there is the shrine of Ma-Cho (Taoist form of Gwan-Yin and Avalokitesvara, and some claim, even that of the Virgin Mary)
