People say Davao has an upcoming Ayala Mall called the Abreeza and SM Lanang. Abreeza will be completed by 2012. Since when did Cebu had the Ayala Center Cebu? 1994? so if you count........ Davao is now 17 years from when Cebu came from. Let's all of upcoming malls are completed in Davao by 2012. By then........ Cebu would have a full circle Ayala Mall since the expansion will be completed the same year and our version of SM Mall of Asia in SRP and even in the town of Consolacion where there will be the SM North Cebu.

If you talk of beaches, Samal has far better beaches while how many 5-6 Star Hotels do you see in Mactan alone?

Job security? Cebu has legions condominiums being erected every year and Asiatown is getting fully occupied by Call Centers which is now 85% occupied. And one thing is, businesses in Cebu are by the aggressive CEBUANO developers who is now competing with National Companies and continuing to grow.

Security? Cebu's crime rate is among the lowest and security is satisfying. Recently proclaimed FREE from rebels and insurgents....... Cebu is now the safest place in the country.

For a City growing at more than 20% even surpassing the overall national economic growth and the continued surge of tourists and invasion of Condominiums. Cebu will see a sudden shift in the Cebuano lifestyle within a few years or so.

It's just hard to understand why some people try to bash Cebu down to it's knees kay wala kunoy Mt. Apo, daghan snatcher ug mahal ang panaliton. So far compare the number of tourists trekking Mt. Apo with those staying in Mactan's resorts.

murag dili gyapon safe ang davao sis..duol ra sa gubot didto mga silingan nga dapit..oldo sa city proper kay ok pero if naay treat sa mga terorist dali ra sila ka penetrate unlike dri sa cebu...
