as you can see bro. other than game 2, pierce has been scoring although not that much but it is still decent when your team have many scoring options compare to the lakers.

regarding artest an upgrade from ariza:
ariza although small built but he can score, can play defense, a pesky defender, can shoot compare to artest. like what i have said, the lakers acquired artest because they think that the cavs will be the ECC but they were wrong instead artest has to guard quite a good and intelligent player by the name of pierce. he don't have the body, strength and leaping ability of lebron but he can certainly score and kill you with his step back jumper.

bad day on defense? you don't need terrific skills to play defense, all you need is presence of mind. like what the celtics did to kobe, they know when kobe will shoot although most of his shots are getting in but its all contested. nothing more you can ask.

ariza was a big key during their 2009 championship run and they let him go just to have a body that can withstand lebron.

i'm not saying because of ariza, what i said big factor. he was the missing puzzle to the lakers now.

just looking at the shooting percentage, artest is way off ariza's stats, a much better shooter and if you say upgrade on what? minutes per game? although artest has less than 2 games of ariza but lets face it, his SHOOTING PERCENTAGE says it all.

Artest is a Major upgrade from Ariza. karon lang nanginit si Paul Pierce bro. this game ra. other games he was so distracted by Artest. if naay bad day ang player in terms of scoring, naa pud bad day ang defense. same ra na coz it's basketball.

there's never an offnight w/ defense.. offense you have 50-50 chance w/ it but defense? just go all out.. PP's been hampered by foul trouble early in the series mao nga ug tanawn nimo dli cya effective.. PP knows how artest plays defense.. theyve been playing each other so much in the ECF.. and for me it's a downgrade.. ariza wouldve given PP some fits.. he's a more athletic guy and he can burn you on offense.. artest is inconsistent..

the only chance lakers will still be in the series and even win the championship is for the other players to help bryant especially on the offensive side...dili makaya ni kobe kung siya lang cge ug score...it'd would have been a great help if whenever the celtics defense starts to gather on kobe, he could pass the ball to any of his teammates and make the shot for the team, but that didn't happen...mao tong nahurot pd iyang energy pag fourth...

as what Doc Rivers told the media after game 5 regarding kobe's scoring onslaught on the 3rd quarter, "he is just scoring two points on each shot."
