I believe all 3 games I've mentioned use StarForce and in spite of all the negative feedbacks regarding it I have NEVER once experience the so-called crashes or hardware problems described. I've read Starforce has offered a reward to anyone who can give the exact steps to reproduce the problem. So far not takers. And this was no small fee. Plus the fact that the majority are westerns complaining about it makes me wanna give it the benefit of the doubt since these folks complain about EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING. DI man kaayo ta tig reklamo kai naanad naman ta walay paki ang mga tindahan nato.

The crashing and instability problems of starforce was extremely random and not that easy to reproduce on a standard basis.. its like a random crash per say.
The most dominat problem was the disk checking modes as it never allowed the optical drive to rest as it does countless of checks per min ( something like 120 checks per min ) that was the real main concern and as for the crashing some systems were completely immune to it..
