Guys, have Naruto Eps 1-89 (all ANBU-AonE), [ANBU-AonE]Naruto Special "Find the crimson four-leaf clover!", Naruto Jump Festa 2003 DVD, and Naruto Jump Festa 2004 DVD.

What I want to know is what's the order in which I should watch the vids? Where does the Naruto Special
"Find the crimson four-leaf clover!", Naruto Jump Festa 2003 DVD, and Naruto Jump Festa 2004 DVD come in?

Just learned from AnimeSuki (http://animesuki.com/series.php/3) that Naruto Special "Find the crimson four-leaf clover! and Naruto Jump Festa 2003 DVD are the same. Also learned that Jump Festa 2004 is also known as "Battle at Hidden Falls. I am the Hero!" Special.

But other than that I don't know where they come in.

Watched Jump Festa 2003 and 2004, they're actually specials which happened during Naruto and company's days when they were still Genins and before the Chuunin exams.

Know all I need to know is the answer to my second query.

Side-note: TW's subs really suck in translation!

The manga & anime are not 100% the same but they are very very alike.

One of the wonderful things about the Naruto anime is that it is very faithful to the manga. It's on the few anime which does its best to improve on the manga instead of trying to change stuff (cut out stuff) to make it more profitable.

A lot of anime series do not live up to the original manga but happily the Naruto anime is just so well done. I can honestly say it's just as good as the manga, perhaps even better.

For example, in the manga --- in the first chapters --- it only focuses on Naruto, Sasuke & Sakura.

In the anime --- in the first eps --- you are also introduced to the other kids. Shikamura, Ino, Shino, Kiba, etc.

I think when the mangaka (creator) first made the manga, he hadn't thought up of the other kids yet.

When the anime was made, the manga was already quite long --- so the animators also did extra work and included the other children in the early eps.

In a way, just for that, you can say the anime improves on the storyline of the series.

The anime is really so well done.

My recommendation is that you read the manga. It's not spoiling. It shouldn't be considered spoiling since the manga is the original version.

Also, if you wait for the anime to catch up to the manga, it's going to take years. Not only that... well. There is no guarantee that the anime will catch up to the manga. A lot of anime never catched up to the manga due to economic reasons.

yen, you definitely hit the nail on the head. What you said is all true. To add on to answer warfab_anime's question: One anime episode is usually equivalent to 1, 2, or even 3 chapters.
