@joneil: dad.a nya imo 2 ka mga GSD ha..nahan pd ko watch and interact nla with my dogs pd..
@skye - mu-butt in lang ko ha... ive been following the last 2pages of thread and it struck me that you are really eager to raise your wonderful rott into his full physical potential... and in that eagerness, you have this tendency to "over-supplement" him.. i hope im wrong on this though.
i just would like to ask... why do you need so many supplements at this stage bro? is there any prob with your rott? coz usually one bombards his dog with so much supplements if he has to correct something out of his dog... but if wala man, his dog food will provide the needed vits and minerals... ang imo na lang kay ang pagpili sa sakto nga dog food para niya.
i think humper already wrote something like "choosing the correct dog food variant for your dog".. thats the best supplement you can give to him. dog foods are formulated to provide the basic dietary requirements of our dogs... giving them extra will just be flushed out of their systems (esp. ascorbic acid)... ergo anugon lang sa imo money.
i hope you are guided by your vet with regards to these supplements.![]()
@iron: naa ko gamay prob sa right hind leg(genetics daw) sa ako pup sa pagka.karn but it is improving naman pd and nag.hinay2x ko og rehab pd sa iya feet..n.adto nko vet and wla na daw cla m.buhat and ila g.disclose dayon without futher explaining to me what really happened and i didnt even hear from them that they will try all what they can to help..closure man gd diritso..then kawu rman g.ingon gd and ascorbic acid..
la jd ko m.bombard og supplement sa ako dog jud bro kay hadlok ko m.sobra.an..ngita lang ko advice kng asa mas nindot kay naa naman gd ko kawu and the pupy vet na..and ok rba ako supplement intake kay wla jd prescription g.hatag..ang vet kay dritso ra hatag sa kawu without telling me unsa ako buhaton..
then when it comes sa dogfood kay ok raman ako pup sa beefpro shifting to nutrivet then to big red..then ask lang pd ko advice kng correct ba ako g.buhat sa ako meals pra sa pup..
sory au bro..but ani lang jd ko k.concern sa ako dogs and very meticulous ko sa mga nutritional values and vits..mao na cge ko ngta ko advices from vets (4 vets na ako g.adto.an) and from petshops pd..
tnx sa advice bro..nahan lang jd ko nga m.kampante ko sa ako gpang.buhat when it comes to health of the pup and my packs and i dont want nga m.sayop ko..mao na pra sa ako advices esp from experienced persons and vet works best..
i agree with ironwood.if ur giving an appropriate brand of dogfood to ur pup,no need to supplement specially with minerals like calcium, which when supplied too much will be deposited in the fagile growing bones & cartilages of a growing pup.thus aggravating the problem....moderation is the key!
@ skye: i really dont know what problem are u referring with ur pup kay i havent seen it personally.if ang imo problem kay ang pasterns sa imo pup naga bend, well its usually normal for large pups kay cartilage paman na dha later pana cya mu fully develop into bone fragments & as they gain weight mubend ang pasterns kay di paman kau ka support sa ila weight & its also soft pasad, mao dont overfed & exercised jud. much better,if u have time in the future u can bring ur pup @ paseo arcenas banawa or at our petshop, pawpals along banawa road also.ty!
