That's the harsh reality about applying for a job, sis. There are those who aren't wise enough to see through the situation, so you have no recourse but to tell them only the stuff they want to hear (and omit the part that will burst their bubble). It makes work easier for them.

i guess sometimes you need to lie if you want prove you've change.....

adults need to lie all the time... y not lie during the interview? not all interviewer are interested to your answers anyways, they just want to know how you can answer (with confidence) some of their interviews. after the standard question and answer portion they will ask you anything under the sun. Job Interview is just another Liar Game. hehehehe. But still try your best to answer in a positive way. Provide only the "the need to know" answers. Don't forget to smile kahit medyo plastic na. Have a nice day everyone.

remember you are selling your ability and skills, don't say your bad or weak side... and ayaw sad pasobra hambong, kay ikaw rasad mag lisud ika abot sa time.

i think it was unnecessary for him to expound on his mistake from his previous job. there are many ways of saying things that doesn't sound negative on the interviewee part. remember this is an interview. you would want to put ur best foot forward meaning u emphasize more on what ur good or excellent at not on what ur bad at.

the sad reality lang with recruitment or HR, is that sometimes di jd malikayan na biased pd ni sila sa pagpasulod ug tawo sa ila company (it's either maayo ug nawng, feel nila, etc..)

i applied once in one of the biggest callcenters in IT park (after working for 5 years in another callcenter, w/c is also a big company), i went there around 9 or 10am for the initial interview and exam...i got interviewed at 130pm and was endorsed for a series of exam(murag elimination phase) after 20mins...im proud to say that i passed all the exams they gave to me and there were about 4 or 5 applicants left(including me) from the original 15...then i have to wait for 1 hour for the HR interview...i noticed lang that the HR interviewed me was not in a good mood(nag mug-ot ang nawng), then he asked me to tell something about myself and the funny thing was, he asked me to tell a story about the last movie i saw!! after hearing all my story, he just simply said that they will assess everything they gathered and advised me to wait for their call the next day until 12nn, if it does not happen, then you know what it means...SO I PRACTICALLY WASTED 1 WHOLE DAY OF WAITING AND PASSING ALL THEIR EXAMS ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THEY WILL CALL ME TOMORROW IF I GET ACCEPTED OR NOT!! though it was ok that i didnt get the call, but the fact that i had to do everything all day just to wait if they approve or not, it really pisses me off jd...
