I also saw Boy's statement in SNN. He seemed so affected of the criticism of so many people just because he is only working on entertainment industry. Maybe he is right, we should not judge of what he is capable of only by basing on his current occupation because what he is doing right now is not an easy job also as he told. I think no matter whom the person will be appointed in the tourism position; the important thing we should look for is the passion for the work and sincerity.

And one more thing...

Honestly... if si Boy Abunda gi-offeran og position aside sa TOURISM, usa na tingali ko sa ga yaw2x ron. pero honestly... what's the difference between TOURISM and ENTERTAINMENT industry?

Kani silang duha pareho ra ang GOAL is to entertain the audiences they seek. So Abunda might be qualified considering he packages his artist to be marketable. Even TIM YAP is qualified for this job.

Ako pud siguro in my own opinion sakto to ni-refuse si Boy Abunda, well I'm not saying that he is not qualified because what I can see is pwede man nato maRelate ang work niya sa showbiz to Tourism which both have in common - Entertainment. But ang issue man gud is close friend siya sa family sa President elect then mura na nuon utang na loob ni so I think better siguro dli na lang siya.

i agree also... but many here kinda pointed out that Boy Abunda is not fit for the job, just because he is in entertainment industry or he is gay.

pero dili man sab jud nato malikayan na ang i-appoint sa position are those close to the appointing authority. Kay imporante man gud ang TRUST... pero kung gi-appoint plainly because they are close pero mura wala jud sa iya linya sa trabaho... kana BIG QUESTION MARK jud.
